The additional contact field was changed from free text to a single select (Phone, E-mail, Other)
If the customer is duplicate it will now show in Lead Audit Trace what exact customers are duplicate (have the same phone, email etc.)
After the deal is closed as lost, Customer Status will remain unchanged (before it would be Refused)
Customer sentiment in Interactions was removed
Inactivity/Refusal reasons are unified and wrapped up into one field
Bulk changes for Unit Availability will skip the units that are on deals, to avoid accidentally changing availability on sold units
Phantom pre-reservations that were causing problems in some Excel Exports are fixed
Other fixes and small improvements
Many users have noticed throughout the years that once a customer who already bought a unit inquires again, years after the first deal - some data in the CRM gets overridden or mixed up: creation date, sales agent, project and more. Internally we are calling it a "Multiple Inquiries" problem. Solving it is going to help sales teams to work with leads more efficiently and have a better understanding of their progress.
For a few weeks, we have started to investigate this problem in detail through data analysis and interviews. So far it is clear that there are more problems we have an opportunity to tackle in the process:
Customers/Inquiry Statuses and their configurability
Interactions and overlap with Tasks
Lead-to-Salesman assignment logic and its clarity
... and much more.
Similar to real estate, before starting the construction we have to prepare the site for it. In our case, it means cutting off some old failed experiments in Customer details, migrating some attributes into fields and vice versa. This is why there are so many removals and unifications released. Expect more factual progress on the topic of Multiple Inquiries from now on every month.
Dozens of customers now don't have to remember their passwords due to the ability to log in with Microsoft.
However, a lot of users have more than one Realpad account. It especially applies to customers who have activities in more than one country, meaning they often have to switch between Developer CZ
and Developer Hungary
. For those, there is now a simple way to switch between profiles, after they connect their accounts to Microsoft.
We also know that to truly take advantage of security benefits SSO brings you have to enforce it for your organisation. The ability to make SSO the only authentication method for a group of users is in development.
Other initiatives achieved less significant updates, but rest assured they are being worked on towards goals set in advance: Email Integration, Side Navigation Improvements and others.
As was mentioned in , we are in a long-lasting experiment redesigning the reports with Metabase. As most of the new reports are being added to CRM as you read this, we are preparing to remove old reports from the system. But don't worry, this won't happen until you are familiar and happy with the reports we've built in Metabase. Throughout July we will be gradually rolling it out to everyone, making them available in parallel to old reports. Stay tuned!
