What is the problem?

Many users have noticed throughout the years that once a customer who already bought a unit inquires again, years after the first deal, some data in the CRM gets overridden or mixed up: creation date, sales agent, project, and more. Internally, we are calling it a "Multiple Inquiries" problem - the buyer makes multiple purchase inquiries. Solving it is going to help sales and marketing teams to work with leads more efficiently and have a better understanding of their progress based on correct and timely information.

What is a solution?

Inquiry is a new screen that takes all information about the customer's needs and their processing to a separate place, away from the Customer. This will allow us to have a structure in which one Customer can have Multiple Inquiries, without overrides, errors, or mistakes.

How to get Inquiries now?

Inquiries will soon become the default method for processing Leads. Before launching publicly, we're continuously gathering user feedback and making incremental improvements based on detailed customer interviews within a Beta. We invite you to join the Beta phase of development. Don't worry, participation is completely safe - you won't lose any Customer data by joining. Additionally, the Beta can be enabled individually per user, allowing you to introduce these changes to your team gradually. You can also switch back to the current way of processing Leads anytime. How much time before Inquiries is public?

We won't release Inquiries to the general public until we are sure that all important problems are solved and you are comfortable using the new features. There are many things we have already implemented, but there is more to come, and your feedback is invaluable for us right now. Here is an outlook of what is available:

  • Now: Already available in Beta

  • Soon: Currently in development, expected within the next few weeks

  • Later: Known must-haves further down the road

Favouriting and Un-favouriting units is possible from Inquiry details

Inquiry Preferences

Inquiry preferences allows storing customer's unit preferences in structured form

Inquiry Fields

All inquiry-relevant fields have been moved to Inquiry details from Customer screen

Matching Units

Units which match Inquiry preferences are visible in the Inquiry details for convenience

Export Inquiries / Take out API

Neither Customer exports nor current APIs have been affected yet. Before tweaking current Exports, we will introduce new ways to export Customers and Inquiries soon.

Inquiries Table Columns

Columns in the Customers and Inquiries tables are currently shared, however, Inquiry-related columns will only appear in the Inquiries table soon.

Filter Inquiries

The demand to filter the Inquiries by the most common fields (agents, projects) will be addressed.
